Evaluating cutting-edge work on cognitive and mood effects of resveratrol


Dr Emma Wightman, a Senior lecturer at the University of Northumbria will be speaking at VitaFoods 15.50 – 16.20 on Tuesday 15th of May as part of the VitaFoods Education Programme. Her talk will cover:

• Presenting several studies exploring the role of resveratrol on cognition and mood in hypoxia
• The effects of resveratrol in older adults
• Investigating the role of the microbiota in the effects of resveratrol

Dr Wightman is currently leading a study at the University of Northumbria looking at the effects of Veri-te™ resveratrol supplementation on microbiota, systemic inflammation and brain function. The results of the study are due by the end of this year.

Evolva to debut new product at VitaFoods

Evolva will debut it’s new cold-water dispersible resveratrol powder, Veri-te CWD 90 at VitaFoods in Geneva this year. Demonstrations of this new 90% water soluble formulation will take place at their stand, L149.

We will also be showcasing our lemon flavoured stick packs containing Veri-te resveratrol in the New Product Zone and our delicious Belgian chocolate with Veri-te resveratrol at the tasting bar.
